Meet Tanner Thelen, VP, Sales Executive, at Peoples Premium Finance. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tanner serves clients across the Southeastern United States, including South Carolina, Georgia, Eastern Tennessee, and Virginia. With a background that spans both commercial banking and benefits consulting, Tanner brings a well-rounded, solutions-oriented approach to supporting clients.

A graduate of Montana State University-Billings with a degree in Business Administration, Tanner has built a strong foundation in understanding business needs and helping clients navigate financial decisions with confidence.

Coming from a family of small business owners, Tanner has a deep appreciation for the challenges and dedication it takes to run and grow a business. That upbringing gives him a unique perspective and drives his commitment to serving clients with empathy and understanding.

“Being able to help and serve small businesses is incredibly important to me,” Tanner says. “I’ve seen firsthand the challenges business owners face, and I want to be a trusted resource for them.”

Outside the office, Tanner enjoys an active, outdoors-focused lifestyle rooted in Montana beginnings. Whether it’s golfing, skiing, fishing, or hiking, time spent outdoors is a key part of staying balanced.

Tanner is also actively involved in the community, having served on the Chamber of Commerce, the First Tee Board, and as a volunteer with United Way. At home, he is kept company by a golden doodle named Bogey.
